This spring, the Quantum Coalition is organizing QRISE 2024. We are coordinating with quantum computing industry leaders to curate research challenges and deliver them to aspiring quantum scientists of all levels. The event will be entirely virtual and open to everyone. Participants will choose from a set of research challenges and work in groups of up to five over the course of six weeks. Join us for workshops and tutorials hosted by our industry partners over the six-week period and the opportunity to network with other quantum enthusiasts.

Do I need to pay anything to participate?
No, QRISE is completely free!

What background knowledge do I need to start a research project?
QRISE is targeted toward undergraduate and graduate students at all levels of familiarity with quantum computing.

Will there be a prize for completing a research challenge?
At the end of the six-week period, 3 projects from each research challenge will be selected to present to representatives from the project sponsors!

How can I find a group to work with?
We will match you with a group if you wish to work with others!

Can we reach out for help on the research questions?
Quantum Coalition representatives will be available on Discord to assist with questions related to the research challenges.
